Q: I ordered a digital movie. How do I get access?

A: If you are a new customer, as soon as your order was confirmed, you were sent a separate message to the email used during checkout. This contains login information so you can view your purchase. The subject line will be: "Order Confirmation for Western Journal Movies". Please check your spam folder in case you do not see it immediately. If you did not receive this email, please follow the steps below for "My password isn't working."

Q: My password isn't working.

A: Please try clicking "Forgot password?" on the login screen to get a new password sent to you.




Q: If I buy a movie, will I be able to watch it more than once?

A: Yes, you can login to watch at any time and there is no subscription required to maintain access, subject to our terms of service.




Q: If I rent a movie, when does my rental time start?

A: Rental time starts at the time of purchase, not from the first click to play. This means that once you complete the rental transaction, the clock starts ticking on the rental period you have to watch the content.




Q: Where can I watch the movie?

A: You can watch on any device that has a web browser. You simply sign in with your account credentials on that device.




Q: I put in the wrong email address during checkout, what do I do?

A: We can fix that: Please email support.movies@westernjournal.com and indicate the incorrect email address that was used and the correct email address that should be used along with your name.




Q: Can I gift a movie to others?

A: Yes, visit our “Buy a Gift Card” page where you will either create an account or login if you already have one. Then, follow the prompts to purchase a movie or gift card amount for a friend or family member. They will be emailed a code to enter on the “Redeem a Gift Card” page.




Q: Can the file for the movie be downloaded to a computer?

A: No, this digital copy is for streaming only.




Q: Can I access this on my TV?

A: Possibly, this would depend on the type of tech you own and if there is either a web browser on your tv or if your tv has options for casting/mirroring.




Q: How do I unsubscribe from marketing emails?

A: You can do this by going to your profile by using the drop down arrow next to "My Dashboard" in the upper right corner of your screen and selecting "Account Details." On the "My Public Info" page, you will scroll down to "My Notifications" where you can deselect any or all of the notification options. You can also click on "Unsubscribe" at the bottom of any Community email. It's important to note that once you have unsubscribed from content release, marketing, and drip emails, you cannot resubscribe with the same email address/account.
